As you enter the museum, tickets are purchased in the gift shop. At the entrance you wait with a group and are introduced to the experience with a short video.
The first room is all about the findings and the “science” behind the bigfoot hunters and researchers. Here you will see a scientific set up lab and items bigfoot researchers would use…
The main room features the real meat of this museum. Well known Bigfoot hunters are showcased including Expedition Unknown’s Josh Gates. You can see the Yeti footprint cast from the Destination Truth Nepal Expedition 2007.
Also kept under glass in a temperature controlled box is the Pangboche (Yeti) hand of Nepal. TheThe finger bone was DNA tested and contained human DNA markers.
Foot castings
The museum boasts the largest collection of cast footprints. Some look realistic and some not so much.
The museum also displays an authentic Research and Tech vehicle, theatre with a movie on the history of bigfoot, typical gear, bigfoot sounds and more….
The museum features a reference library and an extensive gift shop with all kinds of unique Bigfoot gifts. Many of the items are handcrafted.
The museum and research center is a must stop for anyone with an interest in Bigfoot. It is professional, clean and extremely well put together. This place offers a fun few hours diving into the world of Bigfoot. You will learn a lot and maybe you too will Believe.
