Sleepaway Camp 2 & 3 used the former Waco Lake Y Camp in Haralson County, Georgia as a stand-in for Camp Rolling Hills. For horror fans and urbex photographers, the wooded lake property became a cult destination long after filming wrapped.

The camp sprawls across hundreds of acres of pine forest and shoreline on Waco Lake. Cabins, dining halls, and waterfront docks still echo the 1980s slasher shoots — peeling paint, mossy roofs, and lake mist that photographs beautifully at dawn.

Explorers should treat the site as private property. Structures decay quickly in the humid South; floors can be soft and handrails missing. Wear sturdy boots, carry a flashlight, and never enter alone.
